LMU overlays, race engineer & setups in one app
Overlays for OBS and over the sim, a voice race engineer on push-to-talk, setups tuned from what you ask for, a live team pit wall on any device, and telemetry review of every lap you've driven.
- £4.99/month after the trial
- Signed installer, no SmartScreen warning
- No plugin needed for LMU
- Runs inside OBS's own browser

One race, lights to flag
Five moments from a 40-lap race and what the app has on screen at each of them.
Lap 01/40 · Lights out
Five reds, then green
Race Control shows the start lights and the race state, then keeps a sector rail up for the whole race. A local yellow in S2 lights S2 and nothing else.
Track limits count in the stewards' own points from the first corner: allowance left, what each cut was charged, and any penalty named as it lands.
On screen: Race Control · Track Limits
Lap 06/40 · Traffic
Hypercars coming through
The radar draws every car to one scale on both axes, so a car alongside is drawn alongside. A faster class closing from behind gets a halo.
The relative puts a blue-flag banner over the list with the car lapping you and the gap to it. Cars to yield to are tinted blue and traffic amber.

Fuel to the end?
Press the button on your wheel and ask. The answer comes back over radio effects in under a second, worked out from your live telemetry.

In the box
Pit changes go over LMU's own REST API. Fuel, tyres and pressures are set from a wheel button with the in-game MFD off screen, and every value is read back from the game.
When the car stops, the damage panel becomes a countdown to release, built from the sim's own repair estimate. Repair and tyre time sit side by side, never summed.

Where the time went
Every lap was written to a file as you drove it. Review reads them back with no account and no upload: speed, pedals, gear and steering against distance, a second lap laid underneath, and a chip per 500 m showing what each stretch cost.
Reference Pace puts your best lap against alien pace for your class and layout, on Ohne Speed's reference times.

Where data is missing
The MFD, race control, track-limit, damage and setup features depend on data rFactor 2 doesn't publish, so on rF2 they read “no data” rather than showing a plausible zero. Track-limit charges can arrive up to ~25 seconds late because of how LMU flushes its log, though the total is correct. Repair and tyre times are shown side by side rather than added together, because whether they overlap hasn't been verified against a real stop.
From the drivers who tested it
LMU drivers from the Apex & Chill community, posted in our Discord. 5.0/5 from 5 reviews.
The pit wall for engineering your teammate is phenomenal. No other app has anything close. So useful to have the correct info, not the BS LMU gives you.
“Absolutely great work from you guys. Brilliant software. Should be proud.”
Jammskie · Apex & Chill member “Super proud of this product. Great work — glad to be a part of the test team. Can't wait for everyone else to get to use this.”
Obsidian · Moderator & test team “Absolutely every LMU Apex & Chill member really should try this app. You will not be disappointed.”
Timmy P · Moderator “I second this — it's an absolute game changer.”

Frequently asked
Do I need to install a plugin or edit game files?
No. Le Mans Ultimate works out of the box over LMU's own REST API. The optional shared-memory plugin adds pedal inputs and tyre detail for the car you're driving, and is required for plain rFactor 2. If you want it, the app installs it into the game for you, in the right place, with one click.
What's included in the free trial?
Everything. The 7-day trial is the full system: every widget, the race engineer, setup optimiser, team pit wall, StreamBot, leaderboards and both overlay destinations. You add a card at signup through Stripe's hosted checkout (the app never sees it), but nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel from the in-app subscription card before then and you pay nothing.
Will Windows SmartScreen warn me about the installer?
No. Every build is code-signed through Azure Trusted Signing under The Lilybank Agency Ltd, so there's no SmartScreen "unknown publisher" prompt on install or update. The bundled voice engine is signed the same way, so antivirus tools have nothing to quarantine.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from the subscription card in the app. It opens Stripe's own customer portal, where you can cancel, change card or download invoices. The subscription is month to month and stops when you cancel.
Does Apex AIO work with rFactor 2?
Yes, but LMU gets more. The standings, relative, radar, track map, speedo, motion, pedals and fuel widgets work on both. The MFD, race control, track limits, damage and setup features are LMU-only, because rFactor 2 doesn't publish the data they need. Where that data is missing, the widget says so instead of showing a plausible-looking zero.
Does Apex AIO work offline?
Yes, for up to 72 hours. A confirmed subscription has a 72-hour offline grace window, so the app keeps working for three full days with no connection, which covers a LAN event or a weekend away. The engineer's 28 core questions and every overlay work offline. Only free-form AI questions and leaderboard sync need the network.
Will an update interrupt me mid-race or mid-stream?
No. The app checks for new versions on launch and shows a banner, but never installs on its own. You choose when to download and when to restart, so an update can't land in the middle of a race or a broadcast.
